Simangele Hadebe will step inside the ring again just over a month after winning the South African female flyweight title.
The 27-year-old Hadebe is set to square up against Revai Madondo from Zimbabwe in an eight-round bout at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) in Botswana on Friday, 29 October.
“Yes, l will be fighting against Revai Madondo in Botswana on the 29th. This fight was supposed to have taken place before I fought for the South African title,” Hadebe confirmed.
This is going to be Hadebe’s fourth fight this year while Madondo will be fighting for the third time.
Hadebe defeated former SA bantamweight female champion Melissa Miller in March, then went on to beat Thema Zuma twice – in a non-title bout in August and in an SA title fight last month.
On the other hand, Madondo won fights against her compatriot Barbra Phiri and Stumai Muki from Tanzania.
