Mamelodi Sundowns’ winning run continued at the Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday evening.

The Tshwane giants were merciless as they whipped struggling Marumo Gallants 4-0.

After being forced to make an early change substituting an injured Khuliso Mudau with Thapelo Morena in the ninth minute, the Brazilians started to play real football.

They opened the scoring when Themba Zwane netted in the 24th minute. Zwane scored from outside the box after a lay-off from Peter Shalulile.

The log-leaders could have gone to half-time with more goals had they scored the many chances they created.

The usual suspect Shalulile made it 2-0 in the 78th minute. This was the Namibian international’s seventh goal of the season.

Pavol Safranko scored Sundowns’ third goal in the 87th before Shalulile completed his brace on the stroke of full-time.

Sundowns, who are yet to concede this season, have collected 25 points from nine games.
