Cape Town City broke Lamontville Golden Arrows’ unbeaten run beating them 4-2 in a DStv Premiership match at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday afternoon. 
Craig Martin, Taariq Fielies, Mduduzi Mdantsane and Fagrie Lakay scored for the Citizens while Velemseni Ndwandwe and Knox Mutizwa netted for Abafana Bes’thende. 
The goal feast started as early as the 14th minute when Martin opened the scoring. However, the Citizens’ lead was cancelled by Ndwandwe in the 35th minute. It was 1-1 at half time. 
Arrows took the lead in the 49th minute through Mutizwa’s penalty. Mutizwa scored from the penalty spot after Fielies had brought him down inside the box. 
Fielies made amends when he headed in to level matters in the 62nd minute. 
Mdantsane, who walked away with the man-of-the-match award, gave the Citizens the lead in the 75th minute after beating an offside trap to score his eighth goal of the season. 
Lakay netted his fifth goal of the season to make the score 4-2 five minutes before full-time.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United moved to second place on the Premiership table after they beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandika 2-0 at the Thohoyandou Stadium. Bradley Grobler and Sipho Mbule scored for Matsatsantsa a Pitori.
Mamelodi Sundowns are leading on top of the Premiership standings with the 27 points – the same number of points Matsatsantsa and Swallows FC have collected. 
The Brazilians lead by virtue of a superior goal difference.
