Chippa United coach Daniel ‘Dance’ Malesela would love to get into his bed and go into a deep slumber in his effort to try to forget about the Chilli Boys’ 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in a DStv Premiership fixture at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday.
Malesela has said that the Chilli Boys’ performance is something he would love to forget in a hurry.
“Obviously, one of those most horrible days we had. A lot of the players were jittery from the beginning. The results were obviously going to be what they are now if you had that situation. We just have to forget about this game,” Malesela said.
Brazilians co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi, on the other hand, insisted that things went according to their plans.
“The game came like we thought. I honestly believe we should have scored more goals,” Mngqithi said after his team won courtesy of goals from Lebohang Maboe and Gaston Sirino.
