Bafana Bafana are going to wait until their last qualifier against Sudan on Sunday to see if they will take part in the next Africa Cup of Nations tournament following a 1-1 draw with Ghana at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Thursday evening.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s Percy Tau scored for Bafana in the 52nd minute replying to Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ 49th minute goal.
This is one match Bafana should have won considering the number of chances they squandered, especially in the first half with Thapelo Morena being the main culprit.
Both Bafana and the Black Stars are on 10 points off three wins and a draw. Sudan have nine points while the group’s whipping boys Sao Time and Principe are winless and drawless.
