Molefi Ntseki is hopeful that Bafana Bafana will emerge victorious when they face Sudan away at the Al Hilal Stadium in Khartoum on Sunday.
Bafana need a draw to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations finals to be hosted by Cameroon. Bafana have 10 points from five matches while Sudan have nine from the five games.
Ntseki’s Bafana, who arrived in Khartoum on Friday, were held to a 1-1 draw by Ghana’s Black Stars in Nasrec on Thursday evening.
“I think the group is still very much open. And Sudan playing at home they will fancy the possibility of winning and qualifying. We are capable of winning,” the Bafana coach said.
The Sudanese are going to have an advantage over Bafana as 1 000 supporters will be allowed into the Khartoum International Stadium.
