Chippa United coach Lehlohonolo Seema is happy that the Chilli Boys had a good start to the PSL promotion/relegation play-offs.
This follows after the Chilli Boys beat Richards Bay FC 2-1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday.
“I think it was a game you’re not sure what to expect until it had started because of the things that were happening,” Seema said.
“I must compliment players from both teams. It was not easy to prepare for this game. Coming to our side, I think we started very slow, understandably so. We tried where we can, experience is the one that put us through.”
Meanwhile, Natal Rich Boyz coach Allan Freese believes they did well even though they lost the match.
“It was nice to play, but after a long time of uncertainty. We had to keep motivating the players. I think we had a good game. Unfortunately, we conceded the two goals. Going forward we will do much better,” Freese said.
