PSL FINE ROYAL AM
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has fined Royal AM R4 million – R1 million for each match they failed to honour during the PSL promotion/relegation play-offs.
However, the PSL showed some kindness towards Royal as R2,8 million – R700 000 for each match – has been suspended for a year.
Royal were further sanctioned with a deduction of three points for each game they didn’t play. Once again, the PSL suspended the sanction for one year on condition that they don’t fail to honour a match during the period of suspension.
The PSL ordered Royal to pay costs of all the sittings.
