Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos knows the kind of opponents the Black Stars of Ghana will be when they clash against them in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Monday evening (18h00).
Broos is gearing himself for a tough match when Bafana Bafana meet the West Africans in their second World Cup qualifier.
Bafana Bafana drew goalless with Zimbabwe away on Friday while the Ghanaians defeated Ethiopia 1-0 at home.
“Tomorrow (Monday) is something different. We play against the best team in the group. They have good players, who play in Europe,” Broos said.
The former Indomitable Lions coach watched a few videos of the Black Stars and has an idea of what to expect.
“I saw videos of Ghana. It will be a tough game. We will have possibilities,” the Belgian said.
“We don’t have to be afraid, certainly not. Players have to be confident to start the game of tomorrow (Monday). Opponent of tomorrow (Monday) is stronger.”
