Kholosa Ndobayini is not concerned about going to a South African title fight on the back of three successive losses.
Ndobayini lost twice to Matshidiso Mokebisi and Hannah Rankin from the United Kingdom.
Instead, Ndobayini says that her losses mean nothing as she’s determined to successfully defend her SA female lightweight title against Bonita van Jaarsveldt.
Ndobayini and Van Jaarsveldt meet in the main bout of the TLB Promotions tournament scheduled for Meropa Casino in Polokwane on Saturday, 25 September.
“I’m not worried at all. Losing my last three fights is not going to have an impact in my fight against Bonita,” Ndobayini said.
The 34-year-old Ndobayini admitted that she doesn’t know much about Van Jaarsveldt. But she added that’s not going to be a problem.
“I don’t know her except for the two fights I watched against Raider (Muleba) and Matshidiso,” Ndobayini said.
Ndobayini, who is originally from Qumbu in the Eastern Cape, is trained by legendary Norman Hlabane.
