Desiree Ellis is pleased that Banyana Banyana are getting closer to their first match in the Aisha Buhari Cup in Lagos, Nigeria. 
The Banyana Banyana coach is going to lead her team in the six-team tournament with their first match being against Cameroon on Wednesday next week. 
“We want a challenge. We haven’t played in a while,” Ellis said on Thursday. 
“Cameroon have a new coach. When a new coach comes everybody wants to raise their hands. We are looking forward to it. We always wanted to test ourselves. This is a big opportunity.” 
Banyana Banyana are in Group B together with Cameroon and Ghana whom they meet on Friday, 17 September. 
On the other hand, hosts Nigeria, Morroco and Mali are going to compete in Group A. The two top teams from each group will proceed to the semi-finals.
