AmaZulu’s search for their first win of the season continues to elude them.
This comes after Usuthu were held to a goalless draw by SuperSport United in a DStv Premiership match at King’s Park in Durban on Tuesday evening.
AmaZulu, who have drawn twice and lost once, enjoyed more ball possession in the first half. But their superior ball possession amounted to nothing as they couldn’t turn it into goals.
The start of the second half was delayed by 15 minutes because of floodlight problems. The stadium management had asked for more time to reboot the floodlights.
Both sides started the second half with more purpose, but again, they failed to score.
The two teams finished the game with 10 men after match referee Thando Ndzandzeka sent off Usuthu’s Tercious Malepe in the 74th minute and Matsatsantsa a Pitori defender Luke Fleurs in the 90th minute.
