Two straight losses and seven goals conceded have forced Swallows FC bosses to call back their coach Brandon Truter.

Mitchell’s Plain-born Truter was on ‘special leave’ following the team’s poor performance and his assistant Simo Dladla was tasked with turning things around.

Dladla failed spectacularly as the Dube Birds suffered humiliating losses to Cape Town City (4-0) and Mamelodi Sundowns (3-0).

“Coach Truter has now returned from leave and will be in charge of the team from now. We would like to wish him and the team well,” a statement from Swallows chairman David Mogashoa said on Tuesday.

Dladla will return to his position and the club’s performance analyst Kamaal Sait remains suspended pending the outcome of hit disciplinary hearing.

Mogashoa added that they are going do take drastic action should Truter and his men fail to bring results.

Swallows are 14th on the DStv Premiership table with five points from six matches. They have only scored once and conceded seven goals.
