Hugo Broos is enjoying himself as Bafana Bafana continue to prepare for their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Ghana.

Bafana Bafana started their preparations at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto. They face the Zimbabwe Warriors in Johannesburg on Thursday and the Black Stars away in Cape Coast on Sunday. Both qualifiers are going to start at 21h00.

“First day, I was enjoying when I saw the players working. It was a recovery training,” the Bafana Bafana coach said.

“There was joy, there was happiness. Also the keepers were enjoying it in training groups. Everyone was happy, that means the atmosphere is very good in the group.”

The 69-year-old former Cameroon national team coach revealed that they are not going too hard at training.

“We are playing on Thursday and Sunday. Physical trainings are not there, we have to keep the team fresh. Sessions on tactical level, defensively and offensively for the game,” Broos said.
