Kaizer Chiefs have suspended their midfielder Dumisani Zuma after he was arrested for driving under the influence.
The 26-year-old Zuma was arrested at a roadblock in Johannesburg last week.
“Kaizer Chiefs is disappointed to learn of the recent alleged conduct of Dumisani Zuma as reported in the media and had taken a decision to immediately suspend him from all club activities pending an internal disciplinary hearing,” a Chiefs statement said on Wednesday.
The statement also added that Amakhosi plan to quickly resolve the matter.
