Gideon ‘Hardcore’ Buthelezi will finally defend his world title in a fortnight’s time.

Buthelezi, 35, faces unbeaten Ghanaian boxer Manyo Plange at the East London International Convention Centre on Sunday, 28 November.

Buthelezi, who has not fought since his win over Mexican boxer Adrian Jimenez in July 2019, will be making his sixth defence of the International Boxing Organisation (IBO) junior-bantamweight crown when he clashes against the Ghanaian.

The 33-year-old Plange from Accra has notched 21 wins with 17 stoppages and a draw.
