Free State boxer Matshidiso Mokebisi will travel to Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape next month for a rescheduled clash against former world champion Nozipho Bell.

The two lasses are going to fight for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Intercontinental female junior-lightweight title at the Nangoza Jebe Hall in New Brighton, Gqeberha, on Sunday, 12 December.

The face off between Mokebisi and Bell was confirmed by David Faas of David Faas Productions. Faas’ promotional outfit is going to promote the fight, which was initially billed for October.

Mokebisi has won all her last six fights while Bell, a one-time World Boxing Federation (WBF) female featherweight champion and current South African female junior-lightweight titlist, won four times and lost twice.
