Top South African referee Victor Gomes and assistant referee Zakhele Siwela are going to officiate at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon.
Gomes and Siwela are set to leave South Africa for Cameroon on New Year’s day. Both the referee and assistant referee together with other match officials from different countries are going to attend a refresher course, which starts on Monday, 3 January.
Meanwhile, the AFCON tournament is scheduled to start on Sunday, 9 January until Sunday, 6 February.
