Nhlanhla ‘Mount Kilimanjaro’ Tyirha’s dominance over Filipino opponents continued as he outpointed Esneth ‘Hard Hitter’ Domingo at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) on Saturday evening.
Tyirha showed up and delivered a solid performance against Domingo forcing the three judges to give him a unanimous decision win.
Siphiwo Mbini scored the fight 97-93, Lulama Mtya 96-94 and Sithembele Tom 97-93 as Tyirha cruised to victory.
The former South African junior-flyweight champion has now beaten three Pinoy boxers in successive fights. He defeated Joey Canoy and Jaysever Abcede last year.
Tyirha has now won seven of his eight fights with a single loss while Domingo dropped to 16 victories and two losses.
