SuperSport United exchanged positions with Orlando Pirates and moved back to second spot on the log after a 2-1 win over AmaZulu in a DStv Premiership clash at the TUT Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday evening.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori took the lead when Thapelo Maseko beat Usuthu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa in the 16th minute following a pass from Gamphani Lungu. Matsatsantsa increased their lead after Lungu netted as the Usuthu defenders were caught ball watching in the 62nd minute.
Immediately after Matsatsantsa top goalscorer Bradley Grobler missed a goal scoring opportunity, Usuthu’s Bonginkosi Ntuli cut the deficit into half when he netted in the 73rd minute.
