Mexican boxer Luis ‘Fletchita’ Castillo has revealed that he’s yet to sign a fight contract for his upcoming clash against Ayanda Ndulani from South Africa.

But Castillo, who clashes with Ndulani in a World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight elimination bout in Cancun, Mexico, on Friday, 19 May (20 May, South African time), is not overly concerned about the delay in sending his contract.

“They have not given me a contract to sign. The fight is on the 19th of May,” the 25-year-old southpaw from Sinaloa in Mexico confirmed.

Initially, this fight, which is going to be promoted by Mexican boxing promoter Alejandro Brito of BXSTRS Promotions, was earmarked for Wednesday, 17 May (18 May, SA time).

Meanwhile, Ndulani, an International Boxing Organisation (IBO) minimumweight champion, has also confirmed that he’s also waiting for his fight contract.

“We have not received the contract yet. We believe we will soon get it,” the 31-year-old Ndulani from Scenery Park in East London said.

According to the latest WBC ratings, Ndulani is number one and his adversary is just one place below him. The winner of this fight between the two boxers is going to challenge for the WBC minimumweight title, which is held by Panya Pradabsri from Thailand.
