Swallows FC flew closer to safety after they defeated struggling Maritzburg United 1-0 in a DStv Premiership at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Thursday evening.
A late goal scored by Tanzanian midfielder David Uromi was enough to give the Dube Birds a much-needed win and valuable three points.
Meanwhile, the Dube Birds are now 12th on the Premiership table with 31 points from 27 matches while the Team of Choice are rooted at the bottom of the standings.
