The Proteas squad, which will take part in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup tournament, was announced on Tuesday morning. 

Captain Temba Bavuma is going to lead the 15-member Proteas squad in their attempt to with their first ever World Cup trophy. 

The World Cup tournament is going to be played in India starting on Thursday, 5 October to Sunday, 19 November. 

Meanwhile, wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock has announced that he will retire after the World Cup tournament.
