England claimed a bronze medal at the 2023 Rugby World Cup after they defeated Argentina 26-23 in a third and fourth place play-off at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France, on Friday evening.

England scored two tries through Ben Earl and Theo Dan with Tomas Cubelli and Santiago Carreras scoring the Los Pumas tries.  

England flyhalf Owen Farrell contributed 16 points after he succeeded with four penalties and two conversions.

On the other hand, Emiliano Boffelli’s boot succeeded with two penalties and two conversions with Nicolas Sanchez adding three more points.
