Four-time Rugby World Cup champions Springboks landed at the OR Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park from France on Tuesday morning.

The Springboks returned home after they became the most successful team in Rugby World Cup history following a 12-11 win over the All Blacks at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France, on Saturday.

Thousands of jubilant rugby fans converged at the airport to welcome back their heroes, who were led by their captain Siya Kolisi.

The Boks are the second team to win back-to-back Rugby World Cup tournaments. The All Blacks won the tournament in 2011 and 2015.
