Mamelodi Sundowns’ march at the top of the DStv Premiership standings continued when they beat Chippa United 2-0 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon. 
First half goals by Lebohang Maboe and Gaston Sirino were enough to give the Brazilians their ninth win of the season. 
The unbeaten Sundowns have now collected 33 points in 15 matches. 
Sundowns were dominant in the first half something, which forced Chilli Boys coach Dan Malesela to make two substitutions before interval. Malesela brought in Augustine Kwem and Thabiso Lebitso for Avela Cezu and Gregory Damons respectively. 
The Chilli Boys had an improved performance in the second half even though they failed to score giving Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango his 10th clean sheet in 14 matches. 

Meanwhile, Baroka FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Cape Town City in Polokwane.

Bradley Ralane scored for the Citizens while a Terrence Mashego own goal helped Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele earn a point.
