Swallows FC coach Brandon Truter has become the first mentor to win the DStv Premiership Coach of the Month award for October and November.
Cape Town-born Truter led unbeaten Swallows, who are second on the DStv Premiership standings with 12 points from six matches, to three wins and two draws between October and November something, which led to the judges giving him the nod.
On the other hand, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Themba Zwane walked away with the October/November Player of the Month award after scoring five times in the same number of matches.
Both Truter and Zwane are the first recipients of the monthly awards since DStv took over as premium sponsor of the Premier Division.
The duo received their awards at a function held at the Premier Soccer League offices in Parktown, Johannesburg, on Monday.
