Mexican boxer Luis ‘Fletchita’ Castillo is counting days before he finally squares up against reigning International Boxing Organisation (IBO) minimumweight champion Ayanda Ndulani from East London, South Africa.
Castillo and Ndulani are scheduled to trade blows in a World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight elimination bout in Cancun, Mexico, on Friday (Saturday morning, South African time).
“I’m very good. I feel motivated and I want to win this fight,” Castillo, who is promoted by Mexican boxing promoter Alejandro Brito of BXSTRS Promotions, remarked.
The unbeaten 25-year-old Castillo has revealed that he’s trained very hard and he prepared himself to go all the way to the last round against Scenery Park-based Ndulani.
“I am prepared to fight for 12 rounds. But if a knockout comes, I will welcome it,” Castillo, who revealed that he will leave Sinaloa for Cancun on Wednesday, said.
Meanwhile, after concluding his preparations at Colin Nathan’s Hot Box Gym, the 31-year-old Ndulani and his trainer Kholisile Cengani are going to fly out of South Africa for Mexico on Monday.
