It was a brilliant innings as captain Temba Bavuma top scored for the Proteas during their three wickets loss to Australia in the first one day international (ODI) at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on Thursday evening.
The 33-year-old Bavuma knocked an unbeaten 114 off 142 deliveries as the Proteas were bowled out for 222.
The Australians replied with 225 runs for seven in 40.2 overs with Marnus Labuschagne putting up a brilliant performance with an unbeaten 80.
