Mamelodi Sundowns were too good for Lamontville Golden Arrows as they trounced them 5-0 in a Carling Knockout first round match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday evening.
It took the Brazilians less than a quarter of an hour to score as Thapelo Morena gave them the lead in the 14th minute. And Brazilians forward Iqraam Rayners scored in the 31st minute to make it 2-0.
Three second half goals from Mothobi Mvala in the 73rd minute, Peter Shalulile four minutes later and Kutlwano Letlhaku eight minutes before full-time completed the rout.
