Jackie Brice is breaking new grounds as he is taking professional boxing where it has never been taken before with Upington in the Northern Cape being his next stop.
The Cape Town-based boxing promoter is scheduled to have a tournament at Upington’s Desert Palace Hotel and Casino on Sunday, 7 December.
“This is going to be the first time a boxing tournament is held in Upington. We are going to hold the tournament at the Desert Palace Hotel and Casino,” Brice said.
Through his Jackie Brice Boxing Promotions (JBBP), Brice, a nominee for the 2023 Promoter of the Year award, has been very busy this year having held five tournaments between June and September. Brice, however, is yet to make known the bill for the Upington tournament.
