Swallows FC star defender Njabulo Ngcobo has received a deserved call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad in Johannesburg.
Bafana Bafana are in camp preparing for Thursday’s international friendly match against Uganda at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
Ngcobo, who walked away with the DStv Premiership Defender of the Season award on Sunday, has been called for national team duty together with Baroka FC duo Evidence Makgopa and Denwin Farmer as well as Ethan Brooks from TS Galaxy.
The quartet received call-ups following the withdrawal of Percy Tau, Teboho Mokoena Sipho Mbule, Rivaldo Coetzee, Mosa Lebusa and Mothobi Mvala.
Tau and Mokoena tested positive for COVID-19 while Mbule was Mokoena’s contact. Coetzee, Lebusa and Mvala are out injured.
