Newly-promoted Durban City announced the appointment of veteran coach Gavin Hunt as their new mentor on Wednesday afternoon.
Cape Town-born Hunt, who turns 61 on Friday, had been jobless since he was sacked by SuperSport United. He has previously coached Chippa United, Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows, Black Leopards and Seven Stars.
Hunt succeeded Simo Dladla, who was released by the side after helping them gain promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) to the Premier Division.
