Bloemfontein-born attacking midfielder Neo Maema has left Tshwane giants Mamelodi Sundowns after four seasons at the defending Betway Premiership champions.
Maema, who’s expected to join Tanzanian side Simba SC, made 120 appearances for the Brazilians after joining them from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2021.
He won four league titles, the Nedbank Cup, MTN8 and the African Football League title. The 29-year-old Maema, who is captaining Bafana Bafana at the CHAN tournament in East Africa, scored 13 goals and had 14 assists at Sundowns.
