National team coach Hugo Broos announced a 25-man squad, which will go to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco later this month. 

The biggest surprise in Broos’ squad is South African Under-20 star player Tylon Smith, who plays for Queen’s Park Rangers in England.

Bafana are in Group B together with Angola, Egypt and Zimbabwe. And they start their group stages cmpaign with a clash against Angola on Monday, 22 December, at 19h00.

Thereafter, Bafana will face the Egyptian Pharaohs on Friday, 26 December, at 17h00. And they will wrap up their group stages campaign against neighbours Zimbabwe on Monday, 29 December, at 18h00. 

Meanwhile, Mduduzi Shabalala, Iqraam Rayners as well as Thabo Moloisane are on stand-by.
