Simba SC from Tanzania announced the appointment of Maseru-born Steve Barker as their new head coach on Friday afternoon.
The 57-year-old Barker joined the Tanzanian giants from struggling Cape Winelands-based South African Premier Division side Stellenbosch FC.
Barker succeeded Dimitar Pantev, who was fired by the ambitious Dar-Es-Salaam club. The former Wits University and SuperSport United midfielder had been with Stellies since 2017.
