Hosts Morocco were too good for Zambia’s Chipolopolo as they whipped them 3-0 in a Group A 2025 Africa Cup of Nations match at the Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium on Monday evening.
Ayoub El Kaabi scored twice and the other goal came from Brahim Diaz to send Chipolopolo crashing out of the AFCON finals. As a result of the win over the 2012 AFCON champions, the Atlas Lions topped Group A.
Meanwhile, Comoros Islands and Mali played to a goalless draw in another Group A match held at the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca.
