Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced his preliminary squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup finals, which are going to be played in June and July.
The tournament co-hosted by Mexico, Canada and the United States of America (USA) starts on Thursday, 11 June and comes to an end on Sunday, 19 July.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates dominate the 32-man squad with nine players each. Bafana assemble in Johannesburg on Monday next week.
Two days later, Broos will announce the final squad of 26 players for the World Cup alongside State President Cyril Ramaphosa and South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan at the Sefako Makgato Presidential Guest House in Pretoria on Wednesday next week.
