Kazuto Ioka successfully defended his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) junior-bantamweight title at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, on Friday.
The 32-year-old Ioka outpointed his Japanese compatriot Ryoji Fukunaga with all the three judges nodding in agreement saying he had done well to earn 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113 on scorecards.
Ioka has since stretched his record to 28 wins with 15 stoppages and two losses while Fukunaga dropped to 15 victories (14 knockouts) and five defeats.
