Temba Bavuma is going to lead the Proteas during the one day international series against India in Cape Town and Paarl.
Marco Jansen, who has had a wonderful Test debut against India, has received his first one day international call-up.
The three one day matches start at Boland Park in Paarl on Wednesday, 19 January and at the same venue two days later. The third and final ODI will be played at Newlands on Sunday, 23 January.
Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock, who retired from Test matches last week, will keep his gloves for the ODIs.
