Day one of the second Test between the Proteas and India belonged to the bowlers as 11 wickets fell at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Monday. 

India were bowled out for 202 after 63,1 overs while the Proteas were 35 for one after 18 overs at stumps. 

Captain Dean Elgar and Keegan Petersen on 11 and 14 respectively will resume batting for the Proteas at 10am on Tuesday. 

Marco Jansen took four wickets for 31 runs with Kagiso Rabada and Duanne Olivier taking three wickets each. 

Mohamed Shami claimed Aiden Markram’s wicket after the South African opening batsman had knocked seven runs off 12 deliveries.

Meanwhile, India captain KL Rahul hit 50 runs after facing 133 balls during his team’s first innings.
