Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman Irvin Khoza has spoken out regarding the on-going case involving Kaizer Chiefs.
The PSL boss has made it clear that this is not an easy case as Amakhosi have been compliant throughout the seasons.
This matter comes after Chiefs failed to honour two matches against Cape Town City at home and Lamontville Golden Arrows away following COVID-19 cases in their camp.
More than 30 Chiefs personnel tested positive for COVID-19 in December something, which made it difficult for them to honour their matches.
“I must indicate that this matter is part of the process. The matter is within the legal division. We all know that every administrative decision is reviewable. It’s important to be cautious because this matter is on-going. It’s best for us to allow the process to unfold to its final conclusion. We are dealing with a club that has always been compliant,” Khoza said on Wednesday.
The PSL Football Department and the executive committee declined Chiefs’ application to have their December matches postponed.
