Mamelodi Sundowns and reigning African champions Al Ahly have been drawn in Group A of the CAF Champions League. 

This is the second successive season the Brazilians and the Red Devils have been drawn in the same group. 

Sudanese sides Al-Hilal and Al Merreikh complete Group A following a draw, which was held on Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, AmaZulu have been drawn against Moroccan side Raja Casablanca, Horoya from Guinea and Algerian club ES Setif in Group B.  

Group C is made up of Esperance, Etoile du Sahel, Belouizdad and Jwaneng Galaxy while Wydad Athletic Club, Sagrada Esperance, Zamalek and Petro Athletico are in Group D. 

Only group winners and runners-ups will advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
