Premiership action is going to return this weekend albeit only two matches are set to be played in Pretoria and Pietermaritzburg.

Log-leaders and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns are going to play against Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld at 15h30 on Saturday while Maritzburg United face Bloemfontein Celtic at the Harry Gwala Stadium at 17h30 on the same day.

Both Sundowns and Pirates go to Saturday’s match boasting an unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership with the Brazilians having won five matches and drawn three times while fifth-placed Buccaneers have notched three victories against four draws.

Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena is confident that the Brazilians, who have scored 16 goals in eight matches, are going to collect maximum points.

‘‘Players have come back looking in good shape. We are oozing with a lot of confidence. We look forward to the match,’’ Mokwena said.

‘‘We have to be extremely cautious and diligent in regards to how we use the playing personnel. The reality is that we have been forced to play differently in some other matches.’’

The former Pirates and Chippa United coach has insisted that it is not their wish to change their playing squad, however, circumstances beyond their control have forced them to do so.

‘‘In certain moments our hands are forced to play certain cards. You have seen how Mothobi Mvala has come through. Mothobi has scored two goals in two matches. We just continue to make sure that we put the
best 11 possible on the pitch. We are quietly going on about our business, no moaning. We continue to go, we continue to fight for the three points,’’ Mokwena said.
