Pule Mmodi scored a brace to give Lamontville Golden Arrows a 2-0 win over Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership match at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont on Tuesday evening.
Mmodi scored in both halves – in the 40th and 67th minutes – to hand Abafana Bes’thende a much-deserved victory over the Buccaneers.
It became clear that it was not Pirates’ day when Thembinkosi Lorch missed a penalty in the 58th minute.
The two sides drew goalless in the first leg match played at the Orlando Stadium, Soweto, in January.
