Chippa United midfielder Sammy Seabi netted twice – each on both ends – as the Chilli Boys were beaten 2-1 by Stellenbosch FC in a DStv Premiership clash at the Danie Craven Stadium in the Cape Winelands on Saturday evening.

Stellies took the lead through Stanley Dimgba in the ninth minute and Seabi equalised for the Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys in the 24th minute.

The 26-year-old Seabi, who is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, was unlucky as he scored an own goal in the 38th minute. That own goal proved too costly for the Chilli Boys.

Stellies are now third on the DStv Premiership table with 11 points from three wins and two draws while the Chilli Boys are 13th having won once, drawn once and lost thrice.
