Nhlanhla ‘Mount Kilimanjaro’ Tyirha gets yet another chance to showcase his massive boxing skills when he faces Filipino boxer Jaysever Abcede on Friday. 

The two southpaws will do battle in a vacant World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Global junior-flyweight title fight at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC).  

Abcede arrived in East London together with his trainer Jimmy Peloni on Tuesday. They left his manager Wowie Adnan in the Philippines as he is recovering from COVID-19. 

Meanwhile, Siphamandla Baleni will make the first defence of his South African junior-flyweight title when he clashes against Mpumelelo Tshabalala in the main supporting bout.
