Senegal forward Famara Diedhiou single-handedly destroyed Namibia leading the Teranga Lions to a 3-1 win in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday afternoon.

The Alanyaspor striker netted a hattrick to make sure that the Teranga Lions remained unbeaten in Group H. Mamelodi Sundowns’ Peter Shalulile scored for the Brave Warriors. 

The Senegalese have won all their four matches while the Brave Warriors won once, drawn once and lost twice to the Teranga Lions. 

Meanwhile, Ghana’s Black Stars beat Zimbabwe 1-0 in a Group G match at the National Sports Stadium in Harare. 

Thomas Partey’s goal scored in the 31st minute earned the Black Stars valuable three points.
