Royal AM held Orlando Pirates to a 1-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Thursday evening.
Royal AM were the first to score through Levy Mashiane in the 32ed minute. Linda Mntambo equalised for the Buccaneers on the stroke of half-time.
Pirates suffered a big blow when their captain left the field injured and was replaced by Thulani Hlatshwayo in the 52nd minute.
