The Springboks started their end-of-year tour with a win as they beat Wales 23-18 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday evening.

This was the first time the Boks won a match over Wales in Cardiff in eight years. It was, however, not an easy match as the Welsh held their own against the Boks.

Dan Biggar slotted six penalties for the Welsh while Malcom Marx scored the Boks’ only try.

Handre Pollard converted four penalties with Frans Steyn and Elton Jantjies slotting one penalty each.
